Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: healthy subjects: no musculoskeletal impairments of the hand to be tested affected subjects: Rupture to one or multiple flexor tendon(s) of the flexor digitorum profundus or superficialis of the second to fifth finger, right or left hand.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Complex hand injuries, complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), existing complications at the surgical site and -scar, open wounds on the hand to be tested, acute arthritis of the finger joints, arthrodesis of the finger joints, advanced osteoporosis, unstable fractures, neurological diseases.
