Group 1: Inpatient pediatric-psychosomatic complex therapy, undergone by all participants

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inpatient therapy in the family psychosomatics has taken place or was planned

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria for psychosomatic therapy, e.g. acute psychoses, manifest substance-related addictions, delinquency Lack of German language skills Refusal of the parents or the patient to participate in the study

A total of 7 time points, T0 before inpatient treatment T1 4 weeks after T0 (waiting period if inpatient admission is not possible beforehand) T2 inpatient admission T3 4 weeks inpatient treatment (allows comparison of 4 weeks inpatient treatment vs. 4 weeks waiting period) T4 Discharge T5 Catamnesis I (3 months after discharge) T6 Catamnesis II (6 months after discharge) A battery of questionnaires is completed in each case, consisting of Beck Depression Inventory for Youth (BDI-Y) Beck Anxiety Inventory for Youth (BAI-Y) Strength and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ) Allgemeiner Familienbogen (FB) Screening für Somatoforme Störungen des Kindes- und Jugendalters (SOMS-KJ) Perceived Stress Questionnaire (PSQ) Youth Self Report (YSR) In addition, a hair sample is taken at each time point, which is used to measure the hair cortisol and BDNF (Brain Derived Neurotrophic Factor) levels of the participants. At the time points T2, T4, T5 and T6, the parents/guardians also complete a questionnaire battery consisting of the Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL) and the FB. The teachers at the local hospital school complete the Teacher Report Form (TRF) once.	—
