Inclusion criteria: confirmed infection with osteomyelitis or joint empyema

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: no implant

goal of the study: description of possible differences between spectrum of bacteria between different locations

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
correct calculated antibiotic therapy, permanent recovery from infection (last visit), bone consolidation (last visit), nonrestrictive weight capacity of the extremity, preservation of the implant during the whole treatment
