Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Surgery and treatment during the study period - Surgically treatable rotator cuff tear - Consent to participate in the study - Follow-up care at the University Hospital Augsburg or at the Orthopedic Specialist Center or MVZ at Vincentinum - Legal capacity to consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Pre-existing shoulder injuries / previous surgery (on the affected shoulder) - Multiple injuries that hinder the mobilization of the shoulder - Conditions that limit the use of the app or the understanding of the follow-up care (e.g., dementia or similar) - Lack of availability of digital devices (smartphone, tablet, computer, etc.)
