Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Patients with chronic periodontitis - Information sheet signed by the patient and declaration of consent for the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Smokers - Patients undergoing anticoagulant therapy - Patients already taking omega-3 supplements

Periodontal parameters in patients with chronic periodontitis, determined before therapy (T1) and after 12 weeks (T2). PD- probing depths CAL - Clinical Attachment Level PI - Plaque Index BOP - Bleeding on probing (bleeding on probing) HS Omega-3 Index

MeasureTime frame
Various questionnaires will be developed to record clinical data and patients' answers to predefined questions at T1. These include - Patient information sheet and informed consent form for the study - General medical history form - Nutrition questionnaire
