Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: - hospitalized patients - patients who submit a written declaration of consent to participate in the study
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: - patients who are unable to understand instructions (e.g. dementia, delirium) - patients in a palliative state in the terminal stage - periodontal status: patients with haemophilia or with a heart disease record card

| Presentation of the correlation between frailty and oral health/dental status /care situation of patients in acute geriatric care: - frailty (Clinical Frailty Scale, FRAIL Scale) - geriatric assessment (Barthel Index, Geriatric Depression Scale, 4AT, Chair-rising, MNA-SF) - oral health indicators (DMF-T, DMF-S, CPI, CDC/AAP case classification, BOP) - oral hygiene (plaque index according to Silness and Löe) - denture hygiene (Denture Hygiene Index) - classification according to the resilience levels of dental functional capacity (ZFK) - oral health-related quality of life (OHIP-G 14) - general health-related quality of life (EQ-5D-5L) - testing of the ability to perform independent oral hygiene (TTMC&NC according to Schüler) - chewing efficiency test with Hue-check Gum - state of the toothbrush in use (Wear Rating) - interview on oral hygiene behavior, denture cleaning, use of dental services Telephone follow-up after 6 and 12 months: how has (dental) health developed?
