Group 1: Condition 1: 0.5 ‰ Vodka will be consumed between 09:00 and 09:30. Approximately 10 ml of blood is taken from each participant via the indwelling venous cannula before the start of drinking,

Exclusion criteria: Cardiovascular disease, liver disease, alcohol or drug addiction, epilepsy or other neurological or mental illnesses, pregnancy

MeasureTime frame
Quantitative determination of ethanol, methanol and 1-propanol as well as the other congener alcohols (if detectable) in plasma using headspace gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. The blood samples will be taken at approximately the following times: Condition 1: 0.5 ‰ 09:00, 09:20, 09:40, 10:00, 10:20, 10:40, 11:00, 11:30, 12:00, 12:30, 13:00, 13:30, 14:00 h. Condition 2: 1.5 ‰ 09:00, 09:20, 09:40, 10:00, 10:20, 10:40, 11:00, 11:30, 12:00, 12:30, 13:00, 13:30, 14:00, 14:30, 15:00, 15:30, 16:00, 16:30, 17:00, 17:30, 18:00, 18:30, 19:00, 19:30, 20:00 h.

MeasureTime frame
Evaluation of kinetic parameters such as cmax, tmax, ß60 (ethanol), AUC, build-up and elimination rate of 1-propanol as a function of alcoholization. Cmax, tmax and AUC are determined from the corresponding curves for ethanol, methanol and 1-propanol. ß60 describes the linear elimination constant of ethanol and is also determined from the corresponding ethanol curves.
