Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
An in-vivo BAT with a bird spider is used to assess avoidance behaviour of all participants. The participants are instructed to draw a bird spider in a plastic box with a lit from 3 meter distance as close as possible towards themselves. The primary study outcome is the individual change in BAT-distance from pre- to post-intervention depending on the treatment arm (interaction effect time*condition).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Self-reported symptom severity assessed with the Spider Phobia Questionnaire (SPQ). The secondary study outcome is the individual change in SPQ-score from pre to post-treatment depending on the treatment arm (interaction effect time*condition).
