Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patient receives regular care in the family doctor's practice and has had at least four contacts with the family doctor's practice due to depression in the last two years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient refuses the exploration of treatment data for research purposes

Number of participants, number of participants per practice, completeness of documented data Proportion of participants with depression - who are treated with medication and/or psychotherapy - in which the suicidality was examined at least once in 12 months - in which the depressive symptoms were recorded at least once in 12 months using a systematic measuring instrument - and specified medication intake in which at least one ECG were written in the past 12 months and corresponding blood values ??were checked

Proportion of patients who are cared for exclusively in the general practitioner's practice, frequency distribution of ICD codes, prescribed medications, comorbidities, proportion of participants whose depressive symptoms have improved since initial treatment in the practice (assessment of severity of depression), number of psychopharmacological interaction potentials per patient, duration of incapacity for work in the last 12 months, frequency of use of care within the last 12 months and feasibility-related criteria
