Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Deceased: sudden cardiac death at an age <50 years Relatives: biological relative of a person who died a sudden cardiac death at an age < 50 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Deceased: other natural or non-natural causes of death (e.g. fatal intoxication), pronounced decomposition of the cadaver, mechanical destruction of the myocardium Relatives: none
