Interventions

Group 1: The participants perform a two-hour standardized submaximal bicycle exercise. Group 2: The participants conduct a 12-minute active control.

18 Years to 35 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age between 18 and 35 years, male, at least two years of experience in cycling and a training load of at least 60 km of cycling per week.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Acute or chronic pain conditions, regular pain medication, joint diseases, psychological disorders, cardiovascular (e.g., hypertension), or metabolic conditions (e.g., diabetes mellitus)
