Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Age >18 years - documented Injury severity score (ISS) >=16 - endotracheally intubated on admission to the university emergency center - Inpatient stay >14 days - Polytrauma CT immediately after admission to the trauma room and subsequent intensive care treatment

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Age <18 years - documented injury severity score (ISS) <16 - length of inpatient stay <14 days - no polytrauma CT on admission - gastric tube in place on admission - no intensive medical treatment
