Inclusion criteria: Age = 18 years Period 01.01.2017-31.12.2021 Sole arthrodesis of the upper ankle joint Surgical arthrodesis of the upper ankle joint at BG-UK-Bergmannsheil Bochum Complete imaging material Complete file material

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Further stiffening of the affected leg Age = 18 years Secondary transfer with surgical treatment outside the BG-UK-Bergmannsheil Bochum

Filling in validated questionnaires: - NRS: Numerical Rating Scale 0 - 10 for the assessment of pain intensity - EQ-5D-3L: EuroQol questionnaire on general quality of life with 6 points - OMAS: Olerud-Molander Ankle Score - AOFAS Foot and Ankle score - PD-Q: Pain Detect Questionnaire for recording neuropathic pain components - DN4/ DN4i: Douleur neuropatique-4: Questionnaire for the assessment of neuropathic pain - SF-36: Short Form Health Questionnaire - SMFA: Short Musculoskeletal Functional Assessment Gait analysis and pedobarometry.
