Since the intention is to conduct a case series with people in a variety of different life situa-tions (e.g. healthy, athletic, inactive participants, patients with affective disorders, pain pa-tients), no strict eligibility criteria are specified for a single person and case study. Exclusion criteria for interventions are generally valid contraindications to manual therapeutic and osteopathic treatments.

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Ultrasound measurement of the deformation of the thoracolumbar fascia; Measurement of heart rate variability using an electrocardiogram; Stress questionnaire (Daily inventory of stressful events); Physical fatigue (Borg CR-10 Scale); Data collection takes place daily, during the study.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Microcirculation, measured by spectroscopy, of the myofascial lumbar tissues; Indentometric tissue stiffness; Thermographic skin temperature; Bioimpedance analytical measurements of the water balance; Urine and blood marker determination in the laboratory; Secondary outcomes are collected daily or weekly.
