Group 1: training: Over a period of 12 weeks, test subjects will participate in a supervised full-body strength training three times per week. Following this, there will be a 12-week wash-out phase. E

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 18 months after the menopause

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Intake of hormone supplements, permanent neurological or oncological or cardiovascular diseases

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Muscle strength, hypertrophy, metabolic processes: The initial strength test and blood sample determine the baseline, which is then compared to the same test carried out after 12 weeks of intervention.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Well-being: The initial test uses a questionnaire to determine the baseline. The same questions are asked again after 12 weeks of intervention and compared with the previous values.
