Group 1: Patients with supratentorial and first-time diagnosed meningiomas or low-grade (WHO grade II) gliomas requiring surgery. Patients are prospectively surveyed using standardized questionnaires

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Patients with condition after craniotomy and resection of a supratentorial meningeoma or glioma (2) - Age = 18

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Other secondary headaches (e.g. after sinus vein thrombosis, hypotension, meningitis, empyema, subdural hematoma) - Age < 18 - Recurrence, multiple or irradiated meningiomas/gliomas - Extensive diffusely infiltrating meningiomas - Lack of written consent or lack of capacity to consent - Patients who cannot clearly distinguish between pre- and postoperative headache

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Descriptive analysis of the frequency, intensity and characteristics of headache and classification as neuropathic or "new" primary headache-like headache.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Determination of prognostic (psychosocial, clinical, anatomical, imaging, surgical) factors that influence the previous or new headache/progression.
