Group 1: Administration of a DP (deceptive placebo): Participants receive the DP in the form of a 30ml blue glass bottle with a spray head containing plain water. A cover story (comic strip) is used

Inclusion criteria: sex: male & female

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: mental disorders (e.g. depression, developmental disorder of speech or motor skills), physical or mental disabilities, marginal knowledge of German (e.g. German not as mother tongue)

MeasureTime frame
In the course of explorative analyses, correlations between the subjects' effectiveness-expectations and the actual changes in physical performance will be investigated.

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Immediately after taking the DP/OLP, subjects complete three physical exercises during which the three motor skills balance, grip strength and speed are assessed. Balance ability is assessed using a balance board ("MFT Challenge Disc"), grip strength using a hand dynamometer and speed via a 10-m sprint.
