Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
1. Investigation of the sensitivity and specificity of plasma pTau217 for Alzheimer's pathology defined according to the local reference standard (CSF or PET).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
2. Additional measurement of pTau217 in cerebrospinal fluid. Here, the extent to which plasma pTau217 corresponds with CSF pTau217 in a multicenter memory outpatient sample is tested. 3. Additional central measurement of Aß42/40 and pTau217 (other measurement techniques) in plasma and CSF in Germany for central verification of CSF diagnostics and for comparative analysis of plasma biomarkers in relation to CSF biomarkers in the multicenter sample.
