Conditions

Mechanical demand on the patellar tendon

Interventions

Group 1: In healthy adolescent athletes, patellar tendon strain is measured at one measurement time point during functional training exercises. From this, a model function is created to estimate tendo

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Determination of patellar tendon strain (as a marker for the mechanical demand on the tendon) during functional exercises.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Development of an evidence-based atlas of training exercises with individualized recommendations for targeted training of the patellar tendon.
