Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Men and women over the age of 18 - Surgical treatment of acute AC joint instability type Rockwood 3B or 5

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Period between trauma and surgery > 21 days (chronic situation) - Pre-existing conditions that limit the strength or function of the shoulder - Pre-existing injuries to the shoulder - Revision surgery

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The primary outcome parameter for the clinical result is the Acormioclavicular Joint Instability Score after 6 weeks, 3 month, 12 month and 24 month (ACJI).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Secondary outcome parameters for the clinical result are the Constant Score, Taft Score and DASH Score.
