Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Individuals who are in a medical or nursing profession, work in emergency medical services, or have received training in resuscitation techniques in another capacity.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: i. Incapacitated individuals ii. Children, i.e., individuals under the age of 18, as they are not capable of providing consent alone iii. Individuals aged 50 years and older, as this age group statistically exhibits a lower affinity for smartphone usage iv. Pregnant and lactating individuals v. Individuals with coronary heart disease (CHD) vi. Individuals with severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) vii. Presence of any pre-existing condition that renders the performance of cardiopulmonary resuscitation for a duration of 2 minutes impractical or associated with potential risks or health consequences for the participant. viii. Individuals who, due to their language proficiency, may not fully understand the instructions provided by the apps.

Are guideline-compliant quality endpoints for resuscitation (pressure depth 5-6 cm, frequency 100-120/min, correct hand positioning, complete thoracic relief) better achieved with the app-coupled feedback applications than without a feedback system?
