Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Primary endpoint is the absence of adverse events during an inpatient stay. This is checked by recording of adverse events in the hospital.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Secondary endpoints are the burden of adverse events during the inpatient stay, as determined by a score, and the costs from the perspective of the statutory health and long-term care insurances in a period of 90 days after discharge. The occurrence of adverse events is recorded in the hospital. The costs are taken from the routine data of the insurances.
