Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Dementia, place of residence in Saarland, benefit recipient according to § 45a/b SGB XI, insured by AOK Rheinland-Pfalz/Saarland, IKK Südwest, or another statutory health insurance fund
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Delirum at hospital admission

| Secondary endpoints are the burden of adverse events during the inpatient stay, as determined by a score, and the costs from the perspective of the statutory health and long-term care insurances in a period of 90 days after discharge. The occurrence of adverse events is recorded in the hospital. The costs are taken from the routine data of the insurances. | — |
