Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: SCD patients: - Clinical criteria for the diagnosis of SCD (according to the criteria of Jessen et al. 2014): - Subjective and persistent (non-acute) deterioration in cognitive performance compared to the original baseline level unrelated to an acute event - Neuropsychological test battery used for MCI or prodromal AD shows findings within the age-, gender- and education-adjusted norm group - Written informed consent of the patient - Age = 60 years MCI patients: - Memory performance 1.5 standard deviation below the age-, gender- and education-adjusted norm group - Impairment in one or more cognitive domains - Self-reported or external history of cognitive impairment - Activities of daily living (ATLs) obtained - Biomarker evidence of Alzheimer's disease (amyloid and tau pathology) - Written informed consent of the patient - Age = 60 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: SCD patients: - insufficient knowledge of the German language - illiteracy - MCI, prodromal AD or dementia -Impairments can be explained by a psychiatric* or neurological illness (excluding AD), somatic illness, medication or substance abuse - Moderate to severe depressive symptoms or anxiety symptoms * Mild subsyndromal depressive symptoms or anxiety symptoms do not count as exclusion MCI patients: - Insufficient knowledge of the German language - illiteracy - dementia - Evidence of a non-AD neurodegenerative disease such as: Parkinson's disease, Lewy body dementia, frontotemporal lobar degeneration, very rapid cognitive deterioration within a few weeks or months (classically indicative of a prion disease, neoplasia or metabolic disorder) - Brain tumor - Evidence of cerebrovascular disease in structural imaging, which serves as an indication of a vascular genesis of the cognitive impairment
