Group 1: septic major amputations of the lower extremity between 01/2011 and 07/2021 retrospective analysis of the medical history and prospective analysis of the quality of life

Inclusion criteria: major amputation of the lower extremity due to therapy-refractory osteomyelitis available pre- and postoperative data

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: traumatic amputations amputations due to other reasons
