Interventions

Group 1: survey of patients with severe somatic disease (heart attack, stroke or systemic inflammatory disease) during the hospitalisation as well as 14 days, 28 days, 90 days and then every 3 months

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: • Inpatient admission or visit at the clinical outpatient department of the University Hospital Augsburg • Capable of giving consent • Sufficient fluency to understand the implications of participating in the study • Admission diagnosis/suspected diagnosis (stroke, myocardial infarction, systemic inflammatory disease, other serious somatic diseases (e.g., cancer, long-covid))

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • Lack of capacity to give consent (e.g. dementia, language difficulties) • Age < 18 years • No interest in participating in the study

Assessment of depression and wellbeing using the Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-9) and the WHO-5 (WHO index of well-being)

acceptance of digital medicine, prevalence of additional (psychological) impairments (EQ-5D-5L, perceived stress (PSQ), quality of life (WHOQOL-Questionnaire) Childhood Trauma Questionnaire (CTQ), Stigma (SSMI questionnaire)), health care utilization, incapacity to work
