Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. surgery for acute type A aortic dissection 2. survival after discharge from hospital

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. underage patients 2. lack of consent of the patient

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Single assessment of quality of life using the validated EQ-5D-5L questionnaire in patients with acute type A aortic dissection (ATAAD) who survived the acute event and at least 6 months after discharge.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Single assessment of post-traumatic stress syndrome using the validated questionnaires PTSS-14 (post-traumatic stress scale-14) and PDS (post-traumatic stress disorder scale) in patients with acute type A aortic dissection (ATAAD) who survived the acute event and at least 6 months after discharge.
