Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Consent of the participating emergency physicians - Test persons must belong to the group of emergency physicians - Sufficient visual acuity of the emergency physicians (self-assessment) to assess the video sequences

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: No existing consent of the test persons - Test subjects do not belong to the group of emergency physicians - Technical defect during presentation of the ultrasound sequences

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The primary endpoint of the study is the diagnostic accuracy of emergency physicians in assessing carotid artery pulsation using pre-recorded, standardized ultrasound video sequences of the common carotid artery, measured as correct dichotomous decisions (“pulsation present” versus “no pulsation present”).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The secondary endpoint of the study is the comparison of diagnostic accuracy in detecting the absence or presence of carotid artery pulsation depending on the ultrasound modality used (B-mode, M-mode, or color Doppler).
