Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Clinically relevant fear of flying in the form of a specific phobia or agoraphobia.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Psychiatric exclusion diagnoses (I.e.: manic or hypomanic episodes; illnesses from the schizophrenia spectrum and severe post-traumatic stress disorders) and somatic factors (I.e.: pregnancy, severe infectious diseases, otitis media, cardiovascular diseases, epilepsy and stroke, physical or mental disability).

| 1) Reduction of the subjective level of fear of flying as a result of the training: This is recorded using the FFB (fear of flying questionnaire), the FSB (fear of flying screening questionnaire), the AES (anxiety expectation questionnaire for air travel), GES (risk expectation assessment for air travel) and a one-item measure. These measures are recorded after the consultation (T0), directly before training (T1), after training (T2) and two (T3) and six months (T4) after the training day. 2) Reduction of clinically relevant fear of flying as a result of the training: Is recorded via the presence of the diagnosis "specific phobia" or "agoraphobia" using the Mini-Dip: (Diagnostic Interview for Mental Disorders) at T0 and T4 | — |
