Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
1. Surgical skills a. Objective movement parameters (e.g. speed of movement, range of movement, precision, etc.) b. Exertion of force (e.g. tensile and compressive force) c. Cognitive load (using standardized questionnaires and tools, e.g. NASA-TLX) d. Subjective evaluation of the video recordings (e.g. using the OSATS, GOALS, GEARS rating) e. Performance parameters (e.g. time to complete an exercise, occurrence of predefined errors, etc.)

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1. Correlation of surgical performance with instrument movement data 2. Correlation of surgical skills with experience 3. Correlation of surgical skills with training/education 4. Correlation of surgical skills with external factors (e.g. department size, OR capacity, OR spectrum, etc.)
