Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients who underwent aortic valve replacement between 01/2022 and 02/2023

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: age below 18

Amount and duration of sedation for TAVI Presence of delirium during the inpatient stay Duration of the delirium Need for a psychiatric consultation Need for psychotropic medication Prolonged hospital stay Length of stay in intensive care unit Laboratory chemical and echocardiographic data pre- and up to 7 days post-TAVI Long-term outcome measured by the occurrence of ischemic events (myocardial infarction, stroke), death or hospitalization for heart failure
