Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Sufficient knowledge of German, (2) Signing of the "Informed Consent" of the participating person, (3) (Suspected) mental disorder of the child registered for psychotherapy, (4) Child is on the waiting list of the psychotherapeutic outpatient clinic for children and adolescents

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Own psychotherapy of the participating parent (due to possible confounding of the effects of psychotherapy and parental intervention), (2) Child has already started psychotherapy

2a. Change in self-efficacy experience, measured using the Allgemeine Selbstwirksamkeits-Kurzskala (ASKU) 2b. Change in parental motivation for change as agents of change for their children with mental health problems, measured with the Parent Perspective University of Rhode Island Change Assessment-Short (PURICA-S)
