Inclusion criteria: Exclusively ductal adenocarcinomas of the pancreatic head

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: All other entities of pancreatic diseases or localizations other than pancreatic head

Evaluation of 5-year oncologic survival, demographic factors, chronic and pathologic outcome, and postoperative morbidity and mortality in relation to open versus laparoscopic technique of pancreaticoduodenectomy.
