Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Informed consent, complete dentition (except wisdom teeth or teeth extracted for orthodontic reasons) with a closed row of teeth without restorations on vestibular and oral smooth surfaces that go beyond the extent of dimple sealings.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Incompatibility with the materials used (Mira-2-Ton® solution: sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate, C. 45410, C. 42090; OptraGate lip retractor: styrene-ethylene-butylene-styrene), cavitated caries, fillings with defects on the surface to be examined that favour plaque retention, malformed teeth, gapped teeth and gingival recessions of more than 1/3 of the root length, physical or mental limitations of any kind that could influence the procedure.

MeasureTime frame
The clinical part of the study is completed when 2 intraoral scans - with multibracket and without multibracket - have been recorded from each of 20 test subjects.

Finally, the plaque quantity is quantified planimetrically.
