| Participants are interviewed by means of an anonymized, German-language Internet questionnaire in the form of an explorative two-factorial study. The Sosci Survey software will be used for this purpose. The survey period is set for about 6 months. After recording sociodemographics, early childhood trauma will be recorded using validated self-report scales based on 28 items of the Childhood Trauma Questionnaire. In addition, the presence of sexual boundary violations will be assessed with the SMCL (Sadomasochism Checklist) with 24 items each for submissive and dominant behavior, and the presence of symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder will be assessed with the German version of the Impact of events Scale (IES-R) in the form of 22 items. In addition, the participants were asked about substance use with the help of a self-developed questionnaire with 19 items. Data from men who have sex with men and who do not use substances in a sexual context are collected as a comparison group. | — |
