Group 1: Conducting the geriatric assessment upon admission and discharge of all inpatients and day patients of the Department of Geriatric Medicine at the Marien Hospital Herne.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients of the Department of Geriatric Medicine and the Day Clinic for Geriatric Medicine (Marien Hospital Herne)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Unable to consent, insufficient German language skills

Assessment of access to and experience with digital media, readiness to use digital media among geriatric patients, and to investigate possible influencing factors.

MeasureTime frame
Capture reasons and clinical predictors for non-use of digital media and an unwillingness to participate in the DiGA4Aged study.
