Interventions

Group 1: Patients in the intervention group are expected to use a Digital Health Application (DiGA) for a period of 3 months, aimed at enhancing adherence to a physical activity and nutrition program.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Presence of essential hypertension grade 1 and 2 - Blood pressure values of at least systolic 140mmHg and diastolic 90 mmHg with multiple measurements - Fitness for sports

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Acute infections - Acute musculoskeletal injuries - Diagnosed CHD or diabetes type II - Pregnancy and lactation

MeasureTime frame
Systolic blood pressure (mmHg) - recorded before and after the 3-month intervention period.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Diastolic blood pressure (mmHg) Adherence to lifestyle measures (therapy initiation, implementation of therapy (frequency, regularity, persistence) (electronic monitoring via app). Health literacy (ability to find and evaluate health-related information from various sources and apply it to one's own health-related decisions, as well as the ability to communicate health-related information oneself) determined via European Health Lite racy Questionnaire (HLS-EU) Daily activity (Freiburg Physical Activity Questionnaire) Quality of life (SF-36) Waist-to-hip ratio Body weight (kg) Nutrition (3 day nutrition protocol - evaluation with DGE-Expert) All parameters are recorded before and after the 3-month intervention period.
