Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Presentation in hospital for the diagnostic workup of abdominal pain. Ability to report symptoms to the physician

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Lack of parental and patient consent for the recording of the interview and the transmission of the recording for linguistic analysis.

The linguists at the University of Bielefeld analyse the conversation recordings to see if there are differences in the way abdominal pain is described and painted.
