Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients with planned tonsillectomy or Patients with a suspected or confirmed diagnosis of a head and neck tumor who are undergoing a) panendoscopy and tissue sampling as part of diagnostic procedures. b) surgical treatment as part of the therapy.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: a) Sample infection/contamination b) Lack of relevant tumour cell content (in head and neck cancer samples) c) Relevant proportion of necrotic/avital areas
