Inclusion criteria: - Presence or exclusion (in the control group) of ASD (also applies to first-degree relatives) - Fluent speech

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The primary outcome is the effect of the multisensory training on the temporal binding window. To determine the size of the temporal integration window, sigmoid curves are fitted for each individual, which represent the mean value of the synchrony judgment for each stimulus-onset asynchrony (SOA). For each SOA, the probability that the participant perceives the presented stimuli as synchronous is determined. The size of the temporal integration window is defined as the width of the distribution (in ms) at a 75% probability of perceiving the presented stimuli as synchronous. The multisensory training is considered successful when there is a significant reduction in the size of the temporal binding window after the training. The size of the temporal binding window is estimated directly before (T0) and after the multisensory training (T1), and 7 (T3) and 14 days (T4) after the multisensory training.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The secondary outcome is the dynamic change in the size of the temporal binding window at the level of individual trials, referred to as rapid recalibration of audiovisual integration. In addition, the improvement of performance in the Word Recognition Task (WRT), quantified by the percentage of correct answers, is an important secondary outcome. The secondary outcomes will also be analyzed at T0-T4 and compared between groups.
