Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Detection of hyperfibrinolysis by viscoelastometry (EX-test and ECA-test) at the described measurement time points (before the start of surgery, immediately at the start of the anhepatic phase, at the end of the anhepatic phase, 10min after reperfusion, and at the end of surgery). | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| 1. Time to detection of hyperfibrinolysis. 2. Correlation of preoperative viscoelastometric variables with transfusion volumes 3. Correlation of preoperative coagulation factor concentrations with bleeding volumes 4. Correlation of viscoelastometric variables with occurrence of thromboembolic events within 7 days postoperatively. | — |
