Inclusion criteria: - Patients for orthotopic liver transplantation - Consent of patient or caregiver - Age > 18 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Refusal of the patient or caregiver. - Age < 18 years - Stop of the operation, e.g. due to rejection of the organ

MeasureTime frame
Detection of hyperfibrinolysis by viscoelastometry (EX-test and ECA-test) at the described measurement time points (before the start of surgery, immediately at the start of the anhepatic phase, at the end of the anhepatic phase, 10min after reperfusion, and at the end of surgery).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1. Time to detection of hyperfibrinolysis. 2. Correlation of preoperative viscoelastometric variables with transfusion volumes 3. Correlation of preoperative coagulation factor concentrations with bleeding volumes 4. Correlation of viscoelastometric variables with occurrence of thromboembolic events within 7 days postoperatively.
