Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Included are all patients older than 18 years who receive open surgery on the stomach, pancreas or liver. In all these cases, the surgical opening is the same and so is the view of the liver.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who are not able to give consent themselves are excluded from the study.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Achieving a representative amount of video data in which the liver can be seen in the surgical opening. Representative in this case means comparable to similar studies from laparoscopy. This is a pilot study in basic algorithmic research.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Evaluation of the performance of the tracking and registration algorithms using common metrics (e.g. Dice, RMSE).
