Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: - Patients who have undergone pancreatic or esophageal surgery and have a malignant tumor disease is present. The inclusion is independent of tumor status, pre-treatment or surgical procedure. - Patients who have been admitted to a general visceral surgery ward of the Department of Surgery at UKHD as part of their postoperative care and are about to be discharged. - Capable of informed consent. - Sufficient knowledge of the German language, both written and spoken.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients in whom the results of the histological examination show that there is no cancerous disease of the pancreas or esophagus. Patients were also excluded if the disease had already progressed to such an extent that only an exploration with sampling could be performed as a surgical procedure.
