Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Clinically-isolated syndrome or multiple sclerosis according to current McDonald criteria.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Factors that contraindicate follow-up examinations as part of the study, e.g. florid alcohol abuse, - Patient not capable of giving consent

• Does sNfl drop differently (in speed & extent) depending on efficacy of DMT? • Is the drop or stabilisation of sNfl dependant on disease acitivity? • Can a delayed drop or sustained high levels of sNfl predict disease activity under therapy? • Does a longitudinal course of sNfl predict the need of therapy escalation prior magnetic resonance tomographic or clinical signs of disease activity? • Is baseline sNfl predictive of disease activity under DMT? • May sNfl support therapy decision making?
