Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients who received an EGD and a pH MII under sedation at the same time between 2015 and 2022 and who had aerosive gastroesophageal reflux disease or a non-erosive gastroesophageal reflux disease diagnosed or a macroscopically normal EGD and a normal pH MII
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Proton pump inhibitor, antacid or steroid therapy in the four weeks before the endoscopic diagnosis Presence of esophageal strictures Presence of esophageal motility disorder (e.g. achalasia) Presence of eosinophilic esophagitis Presence of thrush esophagitis Patients with corrected esophageal atresia Patients with psychomotor disabilities
