Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inpatient stay at the Geriatric Traumatology Center at Oldenburg Hospital due to proximal femur fracture

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Inability to consent to the study - Refusal to participate in the study - Bed confinement prior to fracture event - Polytrauma - Complicative course with surgical revisions - Isolated patients

The primary endpoint is the improvement in the Demmi score (mobility score) as a function of physical activity, as measured by the ActivPAL. What form of physical activity is most effective in improving patients' mobility until discharge?	—

What influence does physical activity before the fracture event have on the improvement of mobility, functionality and physical activity during the inpatient stay? 4.Is there a threshold of physical activity to improve mobility at discharge? 5. Is there a difference in improvement of mobility and physical activity between patients with femoral neck fracture and those with pertrochanteric femur fracture? 6. How does physical activity develop in the further course, six months after discharge?
