Inclusion criteria: In-Patients treated in the interdisciplinary palliative care ward at Mainz University Medical Center of the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: < 18 years

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Survival time of patients treated as inpatients in the interdisciplinary palliative care ward at Mainz University Medical Center and who are assessed upon admission using the established prognosis assessment tool “Palliative Performance Scale” (PPS), with a respective PPS value.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
As secondary outcome we will investigate how often certain defined demographic and patient care associated characteristics occur at the different PPS levels.
