Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: All patients with an eating disorder as main diagnosis according to DSM 5 and indication for day hospital treatment: a) no sufficient improvement with outpatient therapy, b) cannot be treated as outpatients due to the severity or chronicity of the eating disorder symptoms, or due to serious comorbidity.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Psychosis, Bipolar Disorder Substance dependency Dementia, organic brain disease Severe physical illness BMI < 15 kg/m² Acute suicidal ideation

| EDE total score and BMI at 3 and 12 mo follow-up From admission to discharge and maintenance at 3 and 12 months follow-ups: - improvement in reflective functioning (RFQ) - reduction of interpersonal problems (IIP) - reduction of general psychopathology (SCL-90, GSI) - reduction in difficulties in emotion regulation (DERS) - improvement in quality of life (SF-12) - acceptance of the program (% drop outs: premature ending of treatment) - patients´ assessment of the program at the end of treatment Additional process analyses of individual psychotherapy sessions of at least 12 patients. | — |
