Conditions

Out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (I46.9) related to the current hospital admission (U69.13!) I46.9 I46.9

Interventions

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Cardiopulmonary stable after OHCA First measurement of cardiac enzymes within 1.5 hours after OHCA

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Obvious non cardiac cause of OHCA, unknown onset of OHCA, cardiogenic shock, recurrent ventricular arrhythmias

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Kinetics, sensitivity and specifity of H-FABP und cMyBP-C and other cardiac biomarkers for occlusive myocardial infarction. Biomarker levels will bei quantified by immonessays. Blood will be sampled after arrival in the hospital, after 1, after 3 and after 12 hours. Routinely acquired blood samples will be used without the need for additional blood draws.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Mortality, neurological outcome by cerebral performance category (CPC-) Score. These will be assessed by an examination before discharge or after a maximum of 30 days.
