Interventions

Group 1: We aim to compare measurements of cardiac stroke volume with transesophageal echocardiography, transpulmonary thermodilution and pulse contour analysis before and during occlusion in patients

Sponsors

Eligibility

Sex/Gender
All
Age
18 Years to No maximum

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients undergoing elective surgical repair of an abdominal aortic aneurysm

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • Age < 18 years • Anatomical peculiarities that make it impossible to perform transesophageal echocardiography

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
cardiac stroke volume measured with ransesophageal echocardiography, transpulmonary thermodilution and pulse contour analysis before and during aortic occulsion

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
- lowest intraoperative mean arterial blood pressure during the operation compared to the lowest mean arterial blood pressure determined using ambulatory 24-hour blood pressure measurement before the operation - diastolic function before and during aortic occlusion
