Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Adult patients presenting to the medical emergency department at University Hospital Dresden between October 1st 2023 and April 14th 2024 - Working diagnosis of acute respiratory infection with clinically indicated testing (by attending physician) of respiratory material for Influenza and/or SARS-CoV-2 PCR

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Age < 18 years - Test ordered from an institution outside of the medical emergency department
